KUALA LUMPUR, Nov. 5 -- The MRT Putrajaya line was restored to its normal schedule, after having experienced disruption for several hours this afternoon due to trespassing of its tracks.

In an announcement posted at 5.48pm, Rapid KL said train services for MRT Putrajaya have resumed to normal, and that it will discontinue the alternative trains and shuttle buses.

"Train frequency is being adjusted, and the schedule will return to normal shortly," it said on social media.

Earlier at 4.25pm, Rapid KL rail operator Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd said the MRT Putrajaya line was disrupted following a trespassing incident on its tracks between the Sri Damansara Barat station and Sri Damansara Sentral station this afternoon at 2.24pm.
