PASIR MAS, Nov. 2 -- A man who was shot in his house last night in Golok, Thailand died in hospital.

Berita Harian reported that Mohd Fuad Fahmie Ghazali, 33, passed away at 9pm after being treated at Sungai Golok Hospital.

According to Fuad's mother Zaiton Abdul Rahman, 64, she received the news about the attack and his being admitted to the hospital at 8pm.

An hour later she received the call that her son was dead.

Zaiton said her son's remains are to be brought back to their hometown this afternoon.

According to Harian Metro, a Thai Police spokesperson said they had identified a suspect, who had left behind the 9mm pistol used in the shooting, and who lived in the area.
