KUALA LUMPUR, Nov. 8 -- The government will not take diplomatic action against any foreigners for expressing personal opinions on social media, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said.

According to Berita Harian, he said personal views - such as those recently expressed by an individual from a neighbouring country - do not represent the position of that country's citizens as a whole.

"That's the opinion of one person whose party didn't even win a single seat in the election, so we shouldn't be surprised.

"There are parties over there that are unhappy with their government, and they use such situations to criticise our prime minister," he was quoted as saying to reporters after a community event in Kampung Brunei, Membakut, yeste...
