KUALA LUMPUR, April 20 -- Malaysia has registered only 36 new Covid-19 positive cases today, making it the lowest daily number to date, the Ministry of Health (MOH) announced today.

The last time the number of new cases were around this range was on March 13 and 14 with 39 and 41 cases, just days before the movement control order (MCO) was first announced.

There were also zero new deaths reported today. The last time this happened was roughly a month ago at March 19.

However, Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah reminded the public to not be lackadaisical over the latest announcement, and to still observe the needful hygiene routine as well as to abide by the laws.
