KUALA LUMPUR, July 2 -- The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has launched an investigation into alleged corruption and misappropriation involving the tender process for the MyKiosk project under the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT).
The probe follows a complaint lodged in May by Selangor MCA Youth, which called on the agency to scrutinise the project's funding and implementation.
MACC's Senior Director of the Investigation Division, Datuk Zainul Darus, said a preliminary investigation is underway, with its Governance Investigation Division also conducting a concurrent inquiry.
