LOS ANGELES, Oct. 31 -- Self-proclaimed Hollywood producer David Pearce has been sentenced to 146 years to life in a California state prison for murdering two women and sexually assaulting seven others.

According to the Los Angeles Country District Attorney's Office, the 43-year-old was convicted in February for the 2021 fentanyl-induced deaths of models Christy Giles and Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola in Beverly Hills.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Eleanor Hunter handed down the sentence at the Foltz Criminal Justice Center on Tuesday.

District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman said the decision "delivers long-awaited justice" for the victims and their families.
