ALOR SETAR, Nov. 3 -- The man who allegedly beheaded his brother-in-law in Kampung Pida 3, Jerlun, on Friday is believed to have refused psychiatric treatment for the past five months.
Kedah police chief Datuk Adzli Abu Shah said the suspect had also refused to take his prescribed medication, which may have triggered hallucinations leading up to the attack
"The suspect holds a psychiatric treatment card but has refused to receive treatment for about four to five months. This likely caused him to experience hallucinations and develop false suspicions toward the victim.
