JOHOR BAHRU, Oct. 14 -- The health authorities advised the public to avoid panic and to practice safe flu etiquette following the recent influenza outbreak involving nine clusters here.
Johor health director Dr Mokhtar Pungut @ Ahmad assured the public that the situation is under control and there is no cause for alarm.
He appealed to those showing symptoms to seek treatment.
"If you have symptoms, please seek immediate treatment and practice safe distancing etiquette in addition to putting-on a face mask.
"If it involves an affected institution or school, they must immediately inform the nearest district health department so that we can take immediate control measures," he told reporters after officiating the Johor Bahru Mentari Cent...
