KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 10 -- The new iPhone Air will be released in Malaysia on the same day as the United States, which is on Friday, September 19. Powered by the new A19 Pro processor, iPhone Air not only feature a new physical design but it is also the slimmest iPhone to date at just 5.6mm, according to Apple.

The arrival of the iPhone Air also marked the end of the road for the "Plus" variant for the second time. The Plus model made its original debut with iPhone 6 Plus in 2014 and has appeared in subsequent iPhone cycles until iPhone 8 Plus in 2017. It was then reintroduced in 2022 through the iPhone 14 Plus.
