IPOH, Nov. 12 -- A driver was burnt to death after the container lorry he was driving skidded and caught fire at Kilometre 254 of the North-South Expressway (PLUS) northbound early this morning.
According Bernama, Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) acting assistant director of operations Shazlean Mohd Hanafiah said a team from the Kuala Kangsar and Meru Raya Fire and Rescue Stations rushed to the scene after receiving an emergency call at 3.19am.
"The incident involved a refrigerated container lorry carrying vegetables, which is believed to have veered off the road before catching fire.
