KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 22 -- A student from Kolej Vokasional Pengkalan Chepa died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a trailer that was reversing across the road at Jalan Kampung Jembal here last night.

According to Utusan Malaysia, the incident, which occurred at 9.07pm, claimed the life of 20-year-old Norkhairi Amirul Sabri, who sustained severe injuries to multiple parts of his body and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputy District Police Chief of Bachok, Deputy Superintendent Mohd Azrie Sulaiman, said investigations found that the victim had just completed a practical training stint at an engineering company in Terengganu last week and was riding a Yamaha Y15 motorcycle from Tawang towards Kota Jembal.
