Additionally, Laos relies heavily on hydropower, with 49 out of 57 power plants in the country dedicated to this energy source.

The Philippines and Indonesia, situated along the Pacific Ring of Fire, are ideal candidates for geothermal energy production.

Wind energy is also gaining traction in coastal regions of Thailand and Vietnam.
