KUALA LUMPUR, Feb. 3 -- Grab Malaysia has issued an apology following allegations that a female passenger was sexually harassed by an e-hailing driver in Johor.
In a response posted online, the company said it was aware of the incident and was in contact with the passenger involved, according to Free Malaysia Today (FMT).
Grab said it was investigating the matter and would offer support to the affected individual.
"This should never have happened," the company said, adding that it takes such allegations seriously and will take appropriate action.
Police have since begun efforts to identify the driver featured in a video circulating on social media, which allegedly shows the incident taking place inside the vehicle.
