MELAKA, Oct. 12 -- Four male students suspected of being involved in the alleged gang rape of a Form Three student at a secondary school here will still be allowed to sit for their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination, Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek confirmed.

The case gained public attention after it was reported that a 15-year-old female student was allegedly gang-raped by two senior students in a classroom last week.

The incident was reportedly recorded and witnessed by two other students on their mobile phones. All four suspects have since been remanded to assist with the police investigation.
