SINGAPORE, Nov. 8 -- About three million adult Singaporeans aged 21 and above will receive cash payments ranging from S$100 (RM320) to S$600 starting December 5, 2026, as part of the enhanced Assurance Package announced in Budget 2023.
The payout amount will depend on each individual's assessable income and the number of properties they own.
In a statement released on November 7, the Ministry of Finance said the Assurance Package aims to help Singaporean households manage living expenses, with additional support targeted at lower- to middle-income families.
Budget 2023 saw the package topped up by S$3 billion, bringing the total to S$9.6 billion.
