KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 4 -- A 28-year-old Chinese national was detained at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) after allegedly attempting to leave the country using a forged travel document, according to The Star.
The Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) said the incident occurred around 6.30pm on Friday at the International Departure Hall of KLIA Terminal 2, when an officer on duty noticed something suspicious during a document inspection.
The Star reported that the woman was scheduled to board a flight to Kunming at 9.30pm.
Initial investigations revealed that she had presented an Electronic Pass (E-Pass) dated July 22 and valid until July 20 next year. However, checks showed the document did not exist in the system and ...
