KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 22 -- MyKad readers will be set up at all petrol stations and pump terminals to simplify access to the Budi Madani RON95 (Budi95) programme, which begins this Saturday (September 27).

According to The Star, eligible recipients of targeted subsidised RON95 will only need to verify their identity using their MyKad, with no registration required.

"The MyKad readers will be available at the stations and pump terminals to reduce the risk of congestion. Another option is through Touch'n Go e-wallet or mobile apps like Setel by Petronas and CaltexGo," the Finance Ministry said in a statement Monday (September 22).
