KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 23 -- Three suspects were arrested early Sunday morning after impersonating police officers and robbing a victim at gunpoint in Pantai Dalam here.

Brickfields district police chief ACP Hoo Chang Hook said motorcycle patrol unit spotted four suspicious men around 3.30am on Jalan Kampung Pasir during a routine patrol.

When approached, a local man reported that three suspects pointed a gun at him and stole his identity card, mobile phone, and wallet.

The suspects attempted to flee on motorcycles but were quickly apprehended by the responding police team at the scene.
