KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 15 -- The body of the 16-year-old schoolgirl who was fatally stabbed at a secondary school in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya yesterday has been claimed by her family.
Petaling Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Shamsudin Mamat said the victim's remains were claimed by her family at about 7.30am today after a post-mortem was completed at the Pathology Department of Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC).
"The victim's body has been claimed by her family.
Further developments will be shared by Selangor police chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar during a press conference at 11.30am," he said briefly when contacted by Harian Metro.
