SIBU, Nov. 10 -- The onus falls on school wardens to uphold the safety, maintain the discipline and enhance the moral development of students, school wardens are reminded.

In making this call, Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing has urged the wardens to ensure that 'everything must be in order'.

"Wardens must really perform, and I know some of them never carry out their duties properly.

"Whenever problems arise, they try to wash their hands of the situation - blaming here and there, which I think is unfair," the Bintulu MP and also Dudong assemblyman told reporters when asked to clarify a point in his speech earlier at the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) Children's Day 2025 at Farley stage here yesterday. ...
