PETALING JAYA, Oct. 14 -- What was meant to be a day of celebration turned into chaos at a Bandar Utama school when a 14-year-old student allegedly stabbed and killed a 16-year-old schoolgirl on the morning of the Form Five year-ending ceremony.

Students gathered at the main hall were preparing to collect their graduation robes when panic erupted.

"People suddenly came running in and a teacher screamed for us to lock the door," one Form Five student recalled.

"We pushed against the door and windows, trying to see what was happening outside," the witness recounted.

From their classroom, students saw a Form Two boy walking around the school compound brandishing a knife about five to six inches long.
