KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 11 -- Award-winning Malaysian actor Datuk Remy Ishak has urged local actors and actresses to take their craft more seriously.
Speaking to local media during the production and cast reveal of upcoming horror film Khadam, Remy said some in the industry were more focused on chasing popularity rather than giving their best on set.
"It's hard to find actors and actresses who are serious nowadays. Sorry to say, but I've met a lot who are not ready.
"If you want to act, be serious about it. If popularity is what you're looking for, it's better to just stick to your social media and followers, no need to go into acting.
