SINGAPORE, June 8 -- After years of silence, the survivor of a deeply disturbing rape case in Singapore involving her husband and six other men shared her story with The Straits Times in the hope of helping others.

Annie (not her real name) used to break down reading her husband's letters from prison. Now, she barely glances at them.

"I don't love him anymore," she said quietly. "I've let go and moved on."
