SEOUL, Nov. 10 -- K-pop singer Hyuna took to social media to apologise to fans after collapsing on stage in Macau.

Hyuna, 33, whose stage name is a shortened version of her birthname Kim Hyun-ah, had collapsed while performing her iconic solo hit Bubble Pop.

Video online showed her collapsing midway and then being carried offstage by her dancers and a member of staff.

Hyuna posted on social media, apologising to fans.

"I'm really, really sorry. Although it was a short period since the previous performance, I wanted to show a good appearance, but I felt unprofessional."

The singer said she did not remember anything that happened during the incident but felt sorry for fans who had paid money to see her.
