KOTA KINABALU, March 28 -- Parti Warisan has reaffirmed its commitment to helping the people, even as the party faces increasing difficulties in securing venues for its charitable programs.
A scheduled breaking-of-fast event with Kampung Petagas residents at Al-Jannah Mosque in Putatan was abruptly relocated today due to what Warisan described as "unavoidable circumstances."
Party president Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal revealed that Warisan has repeatedly encountered challenges in finding locations - including mosques and community halls - for its aid initiatives, some of which he himself had inaugurated during his tenure as Sabah Chief Minister.
