Hong Kong, Jan. 11 -- Nari Shakti (women power) in India has reached an all-time high as Air India completes its longest direct route flight from San Francisco to Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, operated by an all-women cockpit crew.

Flying over the North Pole and covering a distance of about 16,000 kilometres, the Boeing 777-200LR aircraft SFO-BLR finally made its longest-ever journey under the banner of Air India. The historic journey departed at around 8:30 pm (local time) on Saturday from San Francisco and landed at the Kempegowda International Airport at around 3:45 am (local time) on Monday.
