India, May 25 -- FromSoftware's blockbuster Soulslike action RPG Elden Ring took the world by storm in 2022. Besides its engaging gameplay mechanics, it featured an expansive story about an extended family of gods and demigods. This story was developed by game director Hidetaka Miyazaki alongside Game of Thrones writer George R. R. Martin. The latter reportedly crafted 500 years of history for its fictional world, and this was put to good use by the game's developers. Which is why we're particularly excited about the recently announced Elden Ring movie that's set to be directed by Alex Garland.

From the main game and its expansion to the upcoming spin-off and Elden Ring: Nightreign, the Elden Ring universe keeps expanding. No doubt there...
