India, Aug. 29 -- Sometimes, it's not the heroine plucking petals off a rose, murmuring, "He loves me, he loves me not..."; sometimes, it's her saying, "I love him... no, I love his brother..."
Love triangles have been around for a long time, and audiences have a love-hate relationship with them, especially the ones involving two brothers. They are a guilty pleasure for many.
The most recent examples are, of course, the love triangles in The Summer I Turned Pretty on Prime Video and My Life with the Walter Boys on Netflix. The entire personality of the female lead, in both cases, revolves around being in love with both brothers. This tired conflict drives the plot, offering little else of substance.
