India, Oct. 5 -- For 50 years, NBC's Saturday Night Live has been one of the most sought-after and widely followed comedy shows, serving as a springboard for performers and transforming them into superstars. As the 51st season premiered on 4 October, we go behind the scenes to discover who the highest-paid SNL cast members are.

The late-night comedy staple returns following its 50th season finale on 17 May. Bad Bunny hosted the premiere episode, with Doja Cat as the musical act. This will be followed by Amy Poehler hosting alongside musical guest Role Model on 11 October; and on 18 October, Sabrina Carpenter will take on double duty as both host and musical performer.
