India, Feb. 16 -- A 500 m stretch on Mumbai's Coastal Road, between Priyadarshini Park and Amarsons Garden, has emerged as India's first-ever melody road or musical road. Inaugurated by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on February 11, 2026, the road operates on a unique Hungarian concept that allows it to play the iconic Bollywood song "Jai Ho" whenever vehicles pass over it at a specific speed.
