India, June 10 -- Radhika Apte has curated a filmography full of interesting, layered female characters who refuse to be put in a box. The actress is anything but predictable with her choices. So her stint in Sister Midnight - an impossible-to-define dark comedy comes as no surprise. In Karan Kandhari's directorial debut, Apte plays Uma, a young woman whose life is upended when she finds herself in an unhappy arranged marriage.
