INDIA, Dec. 5 -- The Gillian Anderson and Lena Headey-starrer Netflix series The Abandons delivers an exciting Western drama with a nail-biting cliffhanger ending.
Created by Kurt Sutter, the period TV series will remind viewers of Yellowstone if it were set in a matriarchal society in the 1850s. The story follows two families in Washington in 1854, headed by two very powerful but different widowed matrons - Constance Van Ness (played by Anderson) and Fiona Nolan (played by Headey). The Van Nesses are wealthy and powerful, while the Nolans are a family comprising orphans and outcasts adopted by Fiona.
