India, May 7 -- Diljit Dosanjh was one of the many South Asian stars who turned heads at the Met Gala this year. It was his first time at "fashion's biggest night out," a milestone for the artiste who has earned global fame with a discography steeped in cultural identity. So it wasn't a surprise that he wore it proudly at the fashion event. Dripped out in regal finery, the Punjabi singer and actor paid homage to Patiala's erstwhile ruler, Maharaja Bhupinder Singh. Every last thread and jewel oozed Punjabi pride as he stepped onto the star-studded blue carpet.
