India, July 8 -- Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones are the internet's collective Roman Empire, and ours as well. So, when Edgar-Jones was announced as one of the lead actors in the new Sense and Sensibility movie adaptation, it only makes sense that our first choice for her love interest was, of course, Paul Mescal.

If you have been living under a rock, here's a quick recap. A new Jane Austen movie adaptation is in the works, and this time it's Sense and Sensibility, brought to us by Focus Features and Working Title Films. Daisy Edgar-Jones will star as Elinor, one of the Dashwood sisters. The movie will be directed by Georgia Oakley, and the screenplay is adapted by Diana Reid.
