India, Aug. 28 -- The roster of upcoming Stephen King adaptations is proving, yet again, that the horror master's stories never really fade; they just find new ways to haunt the audience.
Over the decades, some of the most popular Stephen King novels have spawned some of the most iconic films and TV shows. Notable examples include The Shining (1980), based on the 1977 gothic novel of the same name; Misery (1990), featuring Kathy Bates' Oscar-winning performance; and, of course, the terrifying It movies (2017 and 2019), based on the 1986 horror novel of the same name, that introduced Pennywise to a new generation.
