New Delhi, Dec. 15 -- India's wholesale price index (WPI)-based inflation remained in the negative zone in the month of November 2025 but increased to (-) 0.32% from (-) 1.21% in the previous month, as per official data released on Monday.

The uptick in WPI inflation in November this year was primarily on account of rise in prices of food articles like pulses and vegetables on a month-on-month basis.

"Negative rate of inflation in November, 2025 is primarily due to decrease in prices of food articles, mineral oils, crude petroleum & natural gas, manufacture of basic metals and electricity etc," Ministry of Commerce and Industry said in a press release.
