New Delhi, Feb. 4 -- Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Monday highlighted the significant strides made by women-led startups in India, stating that they are leaving a global imprint across various sectors, including the traditionally male-dominated space industry.

Speaking to a delegation from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry-Ladies Organisation (FICCI-FLO), Singh emphasised that women entrepreneurs are at the forefront of innovation, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of women-led development.

He cited the example of ISRO's solar mission, Aditya L1, which is helmed by scientist Nigar Shaji, popularly known as ISRO's "Sunny Lady."
