New Delhi, Dec. 30 -- Noting that critical AI data and models are crucial for innovation in digital economy but are controlled by a handful of global firms, a white paper released by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India has called for democratising AI infrastructure by treating it as shared resources.
The paper said that when computing power, data, and AI tools are widely available for users, people and institutions can build local-language solutions and improve assistive technologies to meet real needs.
