Kolkata, March 11 -- West Bengal has achieved a significant distinction by leading the country in MSME manufacturing industries while simultaneously recording the highest percentage of women-headed establishments, according to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's announcement on Monday.

The Chief Minister referenced the recently published findings of the 'Annual Survey of Unincorporated Sector Enterprises' conducted by the National Statistics Office (NSO), which highlighted the state's exceptional performance across multiple economic sectors.

Banerjee shared this information through a post on the social media platform X, expressing pride in the state's achievements.
