Jammu, May 18 -- The Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) has expressed serious concerns over prolonged and frequent unscheduled power cuts affecting industrial units in the Bari Brahmana Industrial Complex over the past few days.
Despite the Jammu Power Development Corporation Ltd (JPDCL) collecting an annual revenue of approximately Rs 175 crore from Bari Brahmana, the power supply issues have resulted in huge financial losses for member units operating in the industrial hub.
According to BBIA officials, the power supply from the BBI Grid Station frequently gets switched off without prior notice.
