New Delhi, Nov. 29 -- In a bid to take Indian Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to the global platform, MSME Minister Nitin Gadkari, to meet SBI Chairman next month, to discuss whether the bank can jointly run an e-commerce portal called Bharat Craft.
For the first time, after our government came to power, we are readying a portal called Bharat Craft. I am meeting the chairman of State Bank (of India), we are trying that this portal is run by State Bank and the government jointly,'' Gadkari said during the question hour in the Lok Sabha on Thursday.
While referring to Indias MSMEs as the growth engine for the country, Gadkari said that China was able to progress because of e-commerce portal Alibaba.
