New Delhi, Nov. 28 -- Union Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) on Thursday informed Lok Sabha that there are 8,643 MSME vendors in India under domestic defence production.
In written reply to a question, the Minister quoted a report by the Ministry of Defence, and informed the house about the numbers of MSMEs Vendors under domestic defence production sector.
Further, the Minister also informed about several schemes and initiatives which have been put in place to support MSMEs including those in the defence production sector which include Prime Ministers Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Micro and Small Enterprises-Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP), Scheme for Promotion of MSMEs in North Eastern Region an...
