Gurugram, March 22 -- French aerospace and defence giant Thales has inaugurated a new avionics Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Gurugram, strengthening India's aviation ecosystem.
The facility, located near Delhi airport, was officially opened on Friday by Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu.
The state-of-the-art MRO centre will provide comprehensive avionics maintenance and repair services to major Indian airlines, including Air India and IndiGo.
This initiative is expected to enhance operational efficiency for airlines and contribute to the growth of India's aviation sector.
