Dispur, Jan. 9 -- The Ministry of Textiles on Thursday unveiled the District-Led Textiles Transformation (DLTT) initiative at the National Textile Ministers Conference in Guwahati.
The programme is aimed at promoting inclusive and sustainable growth across India's textile sector through a sector-specific, district-level development approach.
Under the initiative, the Ministry plans to develop 100 high-potential districts as Global Export Champions and support 100 Aspirational Districts in emerging as self-reliant textile hubs.
