Hyderabad, March 18 -- Telangana has attracted investments ranging from Rs 80,000 crore to Rs 1 lakh crore in the green energy sector, with multiple companies already finalising agreements with the state government, according to Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
Speaking during the legislative council's question hour, he presented details of the state's comprehensive Green Power Policy designed to deliver affordable and pollution-free energy to residents.
Vikramarka highlighted that despite global advancements in energy technology, Telangana had lacked a dedicated policy in this sector for the past decade.
