Chennai, Aug. 5 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated commercial production for four projects in Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, and Kancheepuram, involving a total investment of Rs 1,230 crore, during the TN Rising Investors Conclave held in Thoothukudi on Monday.
These projects are expected to generate employment for approximately 3,100 people.
In addition, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed for 41 new projects across the state, amounting to a total investment of Rs 32,554 crore.
These ventures are projected to create over 49,000 jobs, with 19 of the projects falling under the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector, involving a cumulative investment of Rs 265.15 crore.
