Gurugram, June 10 -- Bata has announced plans to establish a dedicated design facility in Gurugram to develop products tailored for emerging markets.
The move, disclosed by CEO Sandeep Kataria following discussions with Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, is part of the company's broader strategy to deepen its engagement with the Indian market.
As part of this initiative, the Swiss-headquartered footwear giant will also explore job-work partnerships with domestic manufacturers to expand its operational base in the country.
