Gangtok, Dec. 1 -- Chief Minister of Sikkim, Prem Singh Tamang said that over 1700 citizens across the state have benefited from the Skilled Youth Startup Scheme which has generated employment opportunities.
He said this while addressing the virtual inauguration of infrastructures of the State Bank of Sikkim (SBS) in Gangtok on Wednesday.
CM Tamang inaugurated a new SBS building in Tadong and Bank branches in Nandugaon (Namchi district) and Uttarey (Gyalshing district) in the presence of Cabinet Ministers, Area MLAs, MP Lok Sabha, representatives from SBS and Sikkim Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (SEED) Cell etc.
