Mumbai, July 14 -- A new 20,000 sq. ft. Skill Development Centre will be set up at the Aurangabad Industrial City (AURIC) in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
The official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the centre is expected to be signed next week.
This development was announced during the visit of Amardeep Singh Bhatia, Secretary of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar on July 12, 2025.
During his visit, Bhatia reviewed the region's industrial and startup progress and emphasised attracting Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and establishing R&D hubs at AURIC to strengthen innovation.
