New Delhi, March 19 -- Singapore and India are set to enhance maritime collaboration by exploring the signing of a Letter of Intent (LoI) for a Green Digital Shipping Corridor (GDSC).
This initiative aims to integrate India's maritime sector with the global shipping network through Singapore's established maritime ecosystem.
The LoI is expected to be signed during Indian Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal's visit to Singapore next week.
Sonowal, Minister of Port, Shipping, and Waterways, will lead a delegation to the Singapore Maritime Week (SMW) from March 24 to 28.
The event, hosted by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), will bring together key maritime leaders, policymakers, and industry stakeholders.
